A modo de presentación - An introduction

Ha pasado bastante tiempo desde que dejé de actualizar mi fotoblog Encarnación. Creo que las fotos que publiqué a lo largo de los años 2005 y 2006 reflejan de algún modo la esencia de esta bella ciudad y su gente.
Ahora inicio otro camino, que espero poder recorrer mientras me ayude a seguir aprehendiendo / comprendiendo el mundo que me rodea y capturando esa esencia, que paradójicamente, a pesar de ser invariable, se manifiesta a través de reflejos fugaces que buscaré captar en mis dibujos y pinturas.
La inspiración para este nuevo emprendimiento surge fundamentalmente del movimiento de "pintores diarios" iniciado por Duane Keiser; y de mi admiración por los pintores impresionistas y su capacidad para captar y transmitir las más sutiles variaciones de la luz, con la frescura y espontaneidad que los caracterizó.
Aunque mis habilidades están muy lejos de las fuentes mencionadas, espero poder acrecentarlas mediante la práctica constante y las críticas que reciba.
It's been a long time since I last updated my photoblog Encarnación. I think that the pictures I published through the years 2005/2006 reflect somehow the essence of this city and the people that inhabits her.
Now I begin to tread a new path, one that I hope to stroll for as long as it helps me to grasp and understand the world that surrounds me, and to seize the essence that being invariant, paradoxally express herself by fleeting reflections that 'll try to capture on my sketches.
The inspiration for this commitment came to me from two sources: the daily painters movement pioneered by Duane Keiser, and my awe for the impressionist masters and their ability to catch the most subtle light variations with an unsurpassed freshness and spontaneity.
Though my skills are far and away behind those exhibited by the aforementioned sources, I hope to hone them by continued practice and critic. Constructive comments welcomed.

Encarnación, Paraguay
Born 1969 in Buenos Aires, he studied Political Science at Buenos Aires University. An aviation lover since his early youth, he obtained the aeronautical ratings and worked several years as a Certified Flight Instructor in different schools, including Oldtimer, founded by him.In 2004 he moved to Encarnacion, Paraguay, and began to publish the photoblog of the same name. Having changed the air space for the architectural space, he is currently two years away from obtaining his degree in Interior Design at the Polytechnical and Artistical University of Paraguay; a study that has renewed his continued quest for beauty and the essence of things; attributes he strives to express in his sketches.
